Jerome K. Jerome (1859 - 1927) was a British writer, author of plays, novels and stories, where he humorously and sometimes sentimentally describes various misfortunes of his characters. His best known work is "Three Men in a Boat" written in 1889. He also wrote "Three Men on Wheels", "John Ingerfield and Other Stories", "Ghost Stories", "Playwriting: A Handbook for Would-Be Dramatic Authors", "Stage-Land" and others.
