"Three Comrades" is dated 1938. This is one of the best known Remarque's novels, included into the treasure chest of the world literature of the XX century, loved by many generations of youths. The book tells us about the so called "lost generation", who were disappointed in bourgeois values. The main characters are trying to survive in the cruel world of pre-Nazi Germany, find their support in strong male friendship and true love.
