1985. The inspector MESS, lieutenant colonel Alexander Hlystov (Alexander Mihajlov), unexpectedly receives by mail the anonymous letter. In an envelope the photo on which poet Sergey Yesenin who just has been taken out from a loop is embodied is enclosed. Any note, any explanations. Certainly, to a picture not less than 60 years, it has strongly darkened and has decayed.
